TECHNOPARK is participating in Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX)  October 9 - 13, 2011 at Dubai. Sultan Malek Al Malek, MD, Dubai Internet City inaugurated the Kerala IT Pavilion at GITEX 2011.

The second largest and most important ICT events around the globe, GITEX delivers a leading platform for industry innovation and an impressive track record of attracting the biggest names in the IT sector, connecting over 3,500 domestic and international IT vendors with more than 136,000 ICT professionals.  Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the 31st edition of the GITEX at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Kerala IT is represented by Mervin Alexander, CEO, Technopark; Gigo Joseph, CEO, Infopark and K G Girish Babu, MD, Kerala State IT Infrastructure Ltd. (KSITL). Apart from marketing the existing IT Parks in Kerala - Technopark, Trivandrum and Infopark, Kochi and the forthcoming parks - Cyberpark, Kozhikode, the team is also showcasing the ‘Emerging Kerala’ event planned by the Govt of Kerala in April 2012.  In addition, some of the Technopark companies are participating in Gitex 2011.
