TECHNOPARK  PHASE IV ( TECHNOCITY)

Technocity is the Phase- IV Expansion project of Technopark. This Project site is spread on nearly 431 acres of land on both sides of NH-47, This would be developed as an integrated township, offering business spaces well as social infrastructure. The Project would involve creation of world class Infrastructure facilities for IT/ITES Industry, residential blocks, educational institutions, hotels and restaurants, health care facilities, commercial complexes etc.

A capital investment of approximate Rs. 8000 crores is expected over a time frame of 8-10 years. The development is being planned as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Model, in association with technically and financially competent Private Developers. There would be multiple partnerships in association with Developers of varying financial capabilities for various parcels of land.  The project is expected to generate direct employment to around 1,00,000 people.

1. Power Distribution System

Technocity project has already been granted the electricity distribution license by the Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC). Presently the design of the power distribution system is in progress.

2. Water supply (deposit work by KWA)

Vamanapuram River, around 12 Km from the project site is identified as the source of water supply. Kerala Water Authority (KWA) has been entrusted to install an exclusive water supply scheme for the project.

3. Selection of Architectural Consultant.

An Architectural cum engineering consultant has already been appointed for the development of Technocity. Presently the design is in progressing.

4. Approach road from NH ( Deposit work by PWD)

The approach roads from the NH 47 to the project site located on either sides of NH, are being constructed and maintained by PWD as a deposit work. The total length of the road would be around 2KM with a width of 21 m.
