Where is Technopark located? How accessible is it from the nearest airport?

 

Technopark is located in the city of Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala state in India, which is one of the most beautiful states in India with high literacy levels , Good connectivity, lower cost of operation and excellent quality of life.

The park is on the National Highway (NH 47) to Ernakulam, adjacent to the University of Kerala's Kariavattom campus and is about 8 kms from the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport which is well connected to all the Gulf Destinations,Colombo and Singapore. Technopark is also well connected by road to other commercial urban centers. The Cochin Sea Port is about 200 kms away from the campus.

 

The internationally renowned beach Kovalam is just half an hour drive from Technopark.

How big is Technopark?

Technopark is spread out across 340 acres, making it one of India's largest and the most advanced locations for the Information Technology industry. Presently about 180 internationally reputed companies with more than 25,000 IT/ITES professionals operate out of the campus in Phase I,II,III Campus.

 

An integrated township called Technocity at Pallipuram on the main NH 47, 5Km away from the campus is being developed.This will have state-of-the-art IT/ITES Buildings, Commercial Malls, Residential Apartments, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, Multiplexers, Club House, Recreational facilities etc.

 

As part of the Hub and Spoke model of IT development in the state, Technopark Kollam is being developed at Kundara(near Kerala Ceramic Factory) in nearby 40 acres of land.
