Graduation/Discontinuation from incubation
The agreement to operate in the incubator will be for a period of one year. This could be renewed based on the recommendation of an expert committee. Following factors will be considered before renewal of the incubation agreement is recommended.
- The venture is ready for graduation from the incubator as the revenue stream of the company is adequate for self-sustenance.
- The promoters have been able to tie up investors to finance the expansion activities of the venture and the incubator support is no longer necessary.
- The promoters have sold the venture to a larger entity.
- The technology/product development activity requires more time necessitating continued operation in the incubator.
