Group of Technopark Companies (GTECH) is a strategic grouping of IT companies operating out of Technopark in Trivandrum. This unique initiative was started with an objective to facilitate interaction among the Technological firms operating in Technopark by creating an enabling environment conducive for Economic Growth, Business Development and common outlook on Policy matters. Since its inception, GTECH has closely worked with the Government and other regulatory agencies to facilitate the Growth of Technopark as one of the premier and most sought after Technological parks in Asia. GTECH has also been closely working for the well being of the community around Technopark and the society through various development initiatives with the objective to create an Environment of Growth and equity and to ensure that the benefits of Economic Growth reaches all sections of the Society.

The Mission of GTECH is to help create and sustain an Environment in which businesses in Technopark can compete and prosper for the benefit of all. This mission entails GTECH to work closely with the Government, Government run Institutions International and National Trade Associations, Academic, Scientific and Research Institutions, Media, Civil Society Organizations and the Society at large.

GTECH is a non profit sharing organization registered under the Travancore- Cochin Literacy, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act of 1955.

Today with a strong membership, GTECH is actively involved in promoting the cause of its members and building a consensus for the Growth of the IT/ITES Industry with the Government and other Regulatory Institutions.

The Software Engineering Process Group Conference (SEPGSM) is the premier international conference and exposition for software process professionals who want to take a systematic approach to improving people, process, and technology at their organizations-building quality products on cost and on schedule, establishing and maintaining continuous improvement efforts, and strategically aligning their organizations with industry leaders.

Software Process Improvement Networks (SPINs) are regional groups of individuals who want to improve the practice of software engineering. Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers [IEEE] Kerala Chapter:

Through its members, the IEEE is a leading authority in technical areas ranging from computer engineering, biomedical technology and telecommunications, to electric power, aerospace and consumer electronics, among others.

IEEE activities in Kerala have reached its 27th year. Kerala became a full Section in 1983. The section has been very active since its formation. It has been holding a national or international seminar every year since 1984. As of January 2002, Kerala Section has around 1200 members including student members. The section has a Computer Chapter, a Power-engineering Chapter and a joint Chapter on Industry Applications & Industrial Electronics. Student branches have been established in 11 Engineering Colleges.

Institute of Engineers (India) - Kerala State Centre:

The Institution of Engineers (India) is a national organization of engineers that aims at furthering the professional interests of the engineering community. The aims and objectives, for which the IEI is constituted, are to promote the general advancement of Engineering and Engineering Science and their applications and to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on those subjects, amongst the members and the persons attached to the Institution.

Computer Society of India [CSI]- Trivandrum Chapter

Computer Society of India is the largest association of IT professionals in India. Started in the year 1965, it has grown to a size of 18000 members in a span of about three decades. The purposes of the society are scientific and educational directed towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science, computer engineering and technology, systems science and engineering, information processing and related arts and sciences.
 
The Society serves its members by organizing various activities, at chapter level, as well as at metro and at national level. Exhibitions are organized at conferences to show case the IT products Services. Manufacturers and vendors use the exhibitions by CSI as a major platform to launch their products and services. The Educational activities of the Society include conducting National Standard Tests in Programming Languages and IT subjects, testing the Banking Course participants.
