IBS offers IT products in six lines of business viz. Founded in 1997, IBS started operations by providing turnkey solutions addressing specific areas of airline operations. Over time this included flight operations/scheduling, passenger reservations, departure control, airport resource management, airport ground handling, air cargo terminal handling, ULD management, airline revenue accounting, mail tracking, port management, voyage management, helicopter scheduling and personnel tracking for a range of airline clients and oil & gas companies.

From 2001, IBS started developing products, based on domain expertise gained in successful delivery of software services projects. Organic growth coupled with inorganic growth by way of five strategic acquisitions, has resulted in a multi-national company operating with subsidiaries in different parts of the world. IBS today employs over 2100 professionals working out of 14 offices, servicing customers in all the geographies of the world and offers perhaps the widest range of software products that cater to the travel, transportation and logistics industries.
