Bhavani MTF

Bhavani MTF, the flagship building of Technopark, was inaugurated on the 18th of August 2002 by Mr. Pramod Mahajan, the Union Minister for Information and Communication Technology. With the addition of this state of the art multi-tenanted facility, Technopark is now one among the three largest IT Parks in Asia. Named after the river Bhavani, this building forms the epicenter of Technopark's growth and reaffirms its reputation as the ideal destination for the IT industry.

Bhavani MTF is centrally air-conditioned, offering built up column free modules in multiples of 2475 sq.ft area. Comprising a total built up area of 4,80,000 sq.ft. 

The building incorporates 130 modules of ideal industrial space, each module capable of expansion into larger modules. All modules are served by ducts both internal and external taking care of all drawing essential services such as electrical cables, data lines, sewage lines, water supply and chilled water lines for air-conditioning. The design concept used in Bhavani MTF is based on the maximization of factors such as an innate ability to expand, maximum light and ventilation, to meet the growing demand of the IT industry. The design captures the essence of Kerala's timeless architectural tradition, living up to the high standards of building quality.

The design includes the basement and ground plus five floors. The basement floor includes the general parking space and service spaces for electrical room, common toilets and vertical circulation core. The ground floor accommodates entrance lobbies & landscaped atrium. 22 IT modules (15.2m x 12.10m) in each floor are planned around the landscaped atrium and are connected to the vertical circulation core by means of 2m wide passage running around the courtyard. The vertical circulation core comprises of 4 passenger lifts, 2 freight cum passenger lifts and 6 staircases. 

The structure is with 140 x 140 hollow RCC columns and 75 cm beams repetitive for all units and floors. Duct doors are provided at every level for access to the ducts. The floor to slab height is 4m.

The terrace floor comprises two rooftop restaurants of 10,000 sq.ft. each including kitchen space. Bhavani MTF is also equipped with a Building Management system.
