Position Summary

RPTECH is expanding its business and looking for dynamic professionals with good track record in sales and marketing to join our team and aggressively grow sales and diversify our client base. The Business Development Associate will play a crucial role in creating effective sales plan, acquiring new customers and forging strong and lasting relationship with clients. This position will have a focus on Software services and report to the Business Development Manager responsible for our Digital offerings spanning IT Infrastructure, Security and Software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation/constant interaction with clients/prospecting clients from across industries and geographies
  • Create effective sales strategy/plans
  • Develop marketing campaigns to support sales strategy
  • Pitch products/solutions and services to prospective customers
  • Manage the entire sales life-cycle right from opportunity identification to deal closure to meet/exceed sales goals
  • Work closely with the business heads, pre-sales and delivery leads to enhance solution portfolio based on market insights and develop innovative marketing strategies to accelerate sales
  • Report progress as required and maintain CRM database
Key requirements of the role
  • Proven high level of success presenting/selling digital solutions to clients
  • IT fluency and strong background in new business development
  • Sound knowledge of IT trends/adoption in mobile, cloud and analytics domains
  • Must handle multiple products and services and cross-sell as required
  • Must be willing to travel across India and abroad
  • Willing to work on startup products/services
  • Ability to interface with C-level executives
  • Ability to build relationship with clients and penetrate new accounts
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
  • Degree or equivalent in marketing or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in sales revenue generation role
  • Experience in bid management and E-tendering process will be an added advantage
