KERALA IT FIRMS SET UP OFFICES IN OCEANIA REGION

Two more Kerala based medium sized Information Technology (IT) companies have opened offices in the Oceania countries with plans to expand business in the region.
Experion Technologies and PITS Solutions, both based in Technopark, have set up business offices in New Zealand and Australia respectively, following their visit there as part of the Kerala IT delegation.
The delegation was organized as a part of Global IT Connect, the flagship program of the Government of Kerala and Group of Technology Companies (GTech), the industry body of IT and ITeS companies in the state, which promotes technology and business collaboration between the IT companies here and their counterparts in various geographies.

CEO OF INAPP RECEIVES GLOBAL RECOGNITION

The CEO of Technopark based InApp, Mr. Amarnath Raja has been bestowed with esteemed Larry K Wilson award of IEEE, which is an acclaimed and prestigious global award. On the IEEE website is the citation, which reads "For significant contributions to global IEEE humanitarian activities and member engagement, conceptualizing and creating the IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) program and helping spread it as a channel for engineers working together to bring the benefits of technology to the entire world.”

Kerala Start-Up Mission in association with India Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) is organizing a 5 day residential Management Development Programme for Startup Companies from 14th -18th December 2015.
The objective of the MDP is to equip the participants about notches behind the transformation of a startup enterprise into a genuine scalable business model. Only two persons from a company can be nominated from a company.

TECHIE DEVELOPS HYDROPONICS WORKING MODEL

Prakruthi handed over a working model of Hydroponics System to Coconut Nursery, an agricultural institution coming under District Panchayath, Trivandrum. This system will be used for the study purpose of not less than 4 educational institutions and will be in display for general public. Interestingly this system doesn't require soil to grow plants but it just need nutrients solution kept under favourable conditions.This working model can hold 20 plants at a time and can be kept in a small space. This is the first product from Prakruthis innovation team for green thoughts.

Prathidhwani, the socio-cultural organization of Technopark, is inviting techies to come up with ideas on a technologically advanced service delivery system for benefit of citizens in Kazhakkottam. The ideas will be discussed with the new Mayor V K Prasanth, elected from Kazhakkottam ward who has hinted a positive response to the needs of techies.
