Startup Boxes for Young Developers 

As part of Youth Entrepreneurs Scheme by Kerala Startup Mission

Fifty young mobile application developers will receive Startup Boxes as part of the Youth Entrepreneurs Scheme (YES) 2015, implemented by the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM). Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy will inaugurate the distribution of the Startup boxes on 12 August 2015 (Wednesday), at 3.00 pm at the CM’s conference hall in the secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram. 
Chief Secretary Shri Jiji Thomson launched the newly designed web portal for Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) at 8.30 am. 

CEO'S GET-TO GETHER @ PHASE III

A grand dinner was thrown to the entire CEO family of Technopark by IT Secretary P.H. Kurian IAS on 6th August 2015 at Phase III campus . The founder CEO, G. Vijayaraghavan joined the gathering that celebrated the bond, success and dreams on the days to come.
PRATHIDHWANI EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
As part of Technopark's 25 year celebration, Prathidhwani, socio-cultural organization of Technopark, Trivandrum is planning to provide a Higher studies educational scholarship for 25 economically backward students who have secured full A+ in the 2015 SSLC Exams. Prathidwani is targeting the students from Trivandrum district who belong to BPL families.
The selected students will get Rs.1000 per month during their higher secondary period. In that sense students will get Rs. 24000 through this two year program.
The students who are interested in this Educational scholarship should submit the hard copy of their SSLC certificate and the ration card to the below given address.

5 KSUM STARTUPS BECAME COMPANIES
Five startups, incubated at the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), have graduated and started working as independent companies in Technopark. Setting a new model for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in the state, the first batch of startups in KSUM - Zestybeanz, Creace, Akira, Techrista and Mirox - together formed a consortium with the support of Technopark and moved into a commonly furnished room at Nila building in the Park. Minister for IT and Industries Shri PK Kunhalikkutty inaugurated the new office space of the companies in the presence of Shri P H Kurian IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of IT and Industries and Shri Girish Babu, CEO, Technopark. According to KSUM officials, 17 more startups are expected to graduate from the incubation facility this month.
A BIG HAND FROM WE CARE
The We Care family, a self-employed women community serving the Technopark, Trivandrum employees by washing their vehicles has donated Rs. 75,000 to CM’s fund for Cancer patients on the graceful occasion of celebrating glorious 25 years.
SILVER JUBILEE - VALEDICTORY FUNCTION

Minister for IT and Industries P K Kunhalikkutty,  Principal secretary to the Department of IT and Industries P H Kurian IAS, M A Wahid MLA, Technopark CEO, K G Girish Babu , Mayor Adv K Chandrika also expressed their delight and wishes on this graceful occasion. The valedictory function concluded with voices of best wishes for the upcoming mileages, adding to the glorious history of this techy giant.
DONATING ORGANS, DONATING LIFE
A letter of consent signed by 1,000 employees volunteering for organ donation was handed over to the Chief Minister Sri Oommen Chandy by the President of Prathidhwani, Bijumon on 5th August, 2015 during the valedictory function of Silver jubilee celebration. On the graceful occasion of Technopark, Trivandrum's silver jubilee celebration, Prathidhwani, the socio-cultural organization of Technopark employees jointly with Technopark has started a one week campaign on ‘Organ Donation’.
