IBS ONE AMONG THE BEST COMPANIES FOR WOMEN

IBS Software, the Technopark based global provider of next-generation IT solutions for the travel, transportation and logistics industries, has bagged an enviable spot among the top 100 companies in India that provide the best amenities and working environment for its women workforce. This was based on a survey conducted by Working Mother Magazine a leading publishing group in the US, who had been doing the survey for best companies for women to work in the US for 30+ years and a leading HR consulting group, AVTAR I-WIN. Around 40% of the employee strength in IBS is represented by women, as against the national average of 22% in the corporate sector. The winners were honoured at an event that took place in Mumbai on Thursday, November 10, 2016. Dileep C, Group Manager – HR received the award from Subha Barry, VP & GM - Working Mother Media and Saundarya Rajesh, Founder-President - AVTAR Group.Technopark congratulates them on their achievement.

AWARD DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY OF SRISHTI 2O16

The award distribution ceremony of Srishti 2016, the creative writing festival of Technopark, Trivandrum will be held on 30th November at 6PM in Travancore Hall, Park Centre.

91ST BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Tejus held their 91st Blood Donation camp in association with QUEST (Sparsham) on Thursday, 24th November 2016 at QUEST Tower, Technopark. The camp closed with 49 successful donations & 92 registrations.

RAISING PHONIX BY TEJUS

The "Raising Phoenix" initiative, which was introduced by Tejus has now spread its wings across numerous schools in Thiruvananthapuram. The new program will bring together talented employees from Technopark to provide additional classes for students during weekends. The initiative has already clocked in 1000 + hours in the last 2 months and is currently carrying out classes for subject including maths, spoken english and computer science. These classes will give students new perspective on the subjects and ensure a proper foundation for the knowledge they gain on a daily basis. On behalf of Technopark Trivandrum, we wish Tejus and all those who helped make this initiative a reality, our sincere thanks for doing their part for the betterment of society.

WORKSHOP ON GO PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

KANTHARI TALKS

The smallest of ideas could lead to brilliant solutions for a better tomorrow just like a small chilli like the Kanthari can create a sensory explosion on your taste buds. This year's Kanthari TALKS, an event featuring 19 life stories from around the world will take place on the 13th and 14th of December at the Multi Purpose Hall at the Infosys Campus in Trivandrum. Expect inspiring presentations from a group of social change makers from around the world.

ORCHIDS
(POEM)
Beside the peony blooms they bloom
With a pep and blush and not gloom
In a spike they cover my garden view
Some to spin the spiral stair but few

Overlooking my orchard laden with fruits
Here to there move their roots
Awaiting with blooms without a think
From the sudden spring into a pink

Twinkles above gave a gaze zoom
Like eye of folks on the bridegroom
Gossips all around about their beauty grew
With their charm dipped in brew

Swan-blood-tiger they sprout
With care and patience I do tout
When someone fuss over me, I move to
The mother orchid laden with dew

My friends offer them loud in gush
To make my cheek enjoy a blush
And have pastoral dances round and round
In the army of my orchids unbound.
