The official weekly newsletter of Technopark Trivandrum View this email in your browser Free IoT Conference at Technopark on May 28 After the successful Enterprise Mobility Conference at Le Meridien Cochin, Team MOBConf is organising an IOT conference at Travancore Hall , Technopark Trivandrum On 28th May 2016. The full-day event will start at 8:30 am. A panel of speakers, well known to the mobility industry, will participate in the conference. The conference is concentrating on the following Top 10 technologies which is identified in the IOT domain. IoT Cloud Solutions, IoT Security, IoT Analytics, IoT Devices, IoT Processors, IoT Operating Systems, Event Stream Processing, IoT Platforms, IoT Standards and Eco System. The KMA-NASSCOM IT-Awards 2015, which was instituted with the purpose of promoting excellence and innovation in Kerala IT sector is scheduled to be held on 17th June 2016 at Le Meridien, Kochi. The awards will acknowledge the companies that have pushed the boundaries of excellence – rising above competition and demonstrating outstanding performance in the Information Technology sector in Kerala. Since these awards are from a platform involving all IT stakeholders in Kerala, they bring with them vital peer recognition and an esteemed certificate of excellence. DONATE SMILES Sanchari, an online community of travellers in association with Prathidhwani, the Socio Cultural organization of Technopark, Trivandrum employees is organising a noble event titled ‘Notebook’ in Technopark. The event is intended to support children belonging to poor families by contributing Books, Bags, Pen, Pencil, Umbrella and other basic stationery items to those kids before the start of new academic year. Team Sanchari will place collection boxes in the lobby of each Technopark Building. All techies are requested to put their contributions into the boxes which will be available from 18th till 25th May 2016. IN HARMONY WITH NATURE Prakruthi, an organization of Technopark, Trivandrum dedicated to promote greenery, in association with TCS and CISSA India arranged organic farming session for Technopark Employees. In addition to being an informative session some practical demonstrations were also arranged. Dr R. Reghunath former HOD , Endomology , KAU explained the agricultural practices in great depth. TCS, Technopark and CISSA extended their support to this event. Technopark based software firm ThoughtLine Technologies is organizing a Badminton tournament for the employees of Phase III, which will be held on 4th June, 2016 at Shuttle Court, Technopark. It is conducted to raise fund for a scholarship program for the underprivileged students. Tejus, the blood donation forum of Technopark is arranging blood donation cabs to RCC (Regional Cancer Center).The cab starts from Technopark at 10:00 am on 26th and 31st May and will return to Technopark in approx 2 hours after the donations. Anyone willing to gift a human life, please contact : help@tejusindia.com with your name/contact number/preferred date/e-mail id/blood group/building/employer details. HELPING HAND TechFriends the voluntary forum of Technopark employees conducted 'Helping Hand' at Puthukurichy, a coastal village near Perumathura, Thiruvananthapuram on 20-05-2016 at 2PM. As part of this program, team distributed 600 Rice Kits and 100 School Kits to the needy.
