PLAY SCHOOL @ KADINAMKULAM
|
|
This year, TEJUS has managed to set up a play school at LPS Kadinamkulam school, with the support from the Technopark community. We often see many schools in Kerala closing down due to multiple reasons. More alarming is that we hear about this almost on a daily basis. We are sure that the play school initiative will reinstall the faith in bringing in more students to government school if properly supported and cared for, by the society. The great support received from the staff and the community deserves to be highlighted and lauded at this point. All such positive news are now helping TEJUS to take more such ambitious projects under the Raising Phoenix program. In case if you are interested to be a part of this Tejus program, please share your views, position and donations if any to help@tejusindia.com.The inaugural function was conducted on Monday 1st August 2016 at 3pm in the school. By God’s grace the program went on well. The play school started working at its full swing. TEJUS take this opportunity to thank all who supported to this dream come true. Thanks to Maya teacher, Uma teacher, all other teachers and non-teaching staff for their never ending love and support to these children.

As part of its CSR initiative, Alamy Images India Pvt. Ltd., a Technopark based IT firm visited the families living in Eyacode recently to provide them with a very simple necessity – ‘light’.
Eyacode is 10kms from Peringamala, Palode & has a small settlement of tribal families who make their livelihood mainly from rubber tapping.
The CSR team of Alamy India contacted the local ward member after being made aware about the difficulties of the families living in & around the forest area. For these families venturing outside their home after sunset is always a terrifying experience due to the frequent attacks by the wild animals from the adjoining forest. The sad plight of these families were reported in a popular newspaper recently.
Solar lamps were handed over to the families at Eyacode by the CSR team from Alamy Images India. “We feel it’s our responsibility to help others in whatever way possible. We’ll also be providing computers for 2 of the local schools shortly” announced Prasanna Sundarajan, Chief Operating Officer, Alamy India, on the occasion
