HOME MUSIC FESTIVAL TICKET SALE STARTED
Technopark, Trivandrum, CEO Hrishikesh Nair kicked off the sales for the Home Music Festival by receiving the first ticket to the show. The musical extravaganza featuring five bands, will be held at the Technopark campus on August 31.

PIT Solutions celebrated their 16th anniversary.PITS is an established IT service provider since 2000 in Technopark with primary offices in India and Switzerland as well as subsidiaries in USA, UAE and Australia.
STARTUP INDIA ROCKS 2016
The Startup India Rocks to conduct a pitching session as well as a road show in Cochin on 17th August 2016 at Kerala Technology Innovation Zone to pick India’s 100 best start-ups who pitch at the finale in November.
BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY PARADIGMS

Technopark Trivandrum  and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode hosted an interesting discussion and session for firms and executives in Technopark as a part of IIM Kozhikode's efforts to connect with the Industry and Corporate.  
The sessions on the Changing Business Paradigms by Prof Rajesh S Upadhyayula and Changing Technology Paradigms by Prof Mohammed Shahid Abdullah, both from IIM Kozhikode was held on 9th August 2016 between 3.30pm and 5pm at the Travancore Auditorium, Park Centre, Technopark.

 ENTREPRENEURS CORNER SESSION

Kerala Start-up Mission and KEY Accelerator organized an Entrepreneurs corner session with C Balagopal, eminent industrialist and the former MD of Terumo Penpol. The session was organized at the EY Centre at the KINFRA Film and Video Park and saw the participation of around 200 techies. As a part of the session C Balagopal shared his amazing story of being an entrepreneur.

 2ND ENTREPRENEURS CORNER SESSION 

Kerala Start-Up Mission and KEY Accelerator organised an Entrepreneurs Corner session on 8th August 2016 with Tony Thomas,CIO, GE Global Growth organization at the EY Centre in Trivandrum. Anthony (Tony as fondly addressed) spoke about the technology challenges, disruptions and the opportunities the new digital era offers for young entrepreneurs .Tony also spoke on the need to have a sustainable business model for entrepreneurs to navigate through uncertain economic environment. Tony also spoke on the need to have a sustainable innovation led ecosystem inclusive of important
stakeholders for a state like Kerala to succeed in the global environment

BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Tejus conducted its 85th Voluntary Blood Donation camp on 6th August 2016 at Museum compound in association with KEBS, SAHRUDAYA, Sanchari and RedFM for SCT Hospital. The camp closed with 50 successful donations.
INVITE ALL IEDC TO CREATE VIDEOS
Tell us your story, share with us your experiences in the researching or working in entrepreneurship related fields and be featured at our upcoming summit. 
The Kerala Startup Mission invites all IEDCs to create videos for our IEDC Summit 2016 to be held in Trivandrum on August 23. The best video will be featured and will also awarded. All you have to do is send us your videos at: vishal@startupmission.in
The rules are as follows:
* Video should be no longer than 2 mins.
* It can be recorded via a Mobile or Camera
* It should contain visuals of the college, iedc room, workshops conducted (if any ), crowd of students, and the phrases "Dream it do it" and "Join us for the IEDC Summit 2016" at the end of the video.
