TECHNOPARK CLUB VOLLEY BALL  2016 The team from Toonz Animation Ltd secured the win at the Technopark Club Volley Ball Tournament 2016 with the team from RR Donnelley as the runners up. Mr Nireesh (GM, Marketing, Technopark) distributed Prizes to Winners on Wednesday. ORUMAYODE ORONAM Natana is all set to host a vibrant and festive onam celebration at the Technopark Trivandrum campus. Natana in association with Prakrithi will host 'Orumayude Oronam' on September 8 with programs including a grand Onam Procession,pookalam competition an organic onam feast, special days and 'Onathinidayil Musical Puttu Kachavadam by Oorali Band. The registrations to various competitions and events will take place from August 16 to 18 and will be carried out on a first come first serve basis. For further information on the events and competitions and for registration to the same visit http://www.natana.in/events/orumayode-oronam MATERNITY LEAVE The maternity Benefit Amendment Bill, 2016, which increases maternity leave from present 12 weeks to 26 weeks was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. The bill also provides 12-weeks leave for commissioning and adopting mothers and makes it mandatory to provide creche facility for establishment where the number of workers is 50 and above. RAISING PHOENIX As a part of its school support program, 'Raising Phoenix', TEJUS at Technopark, Trivandrum has managed to collect 17 used CPUs and deliver them to Concordia Lutheran HSS, Peroorkkada; St. Vincent school, Kaniyapuram and Govt. LPS, Pattathil, Korani. The systems were handed over by APPLEXUS, a company in Technopark and will enable over 650 students gain access to IT classes and related facilities. TEJUS is still on the look out for more such PCs to help more students. Any used computers in good conditions can be donated by writing to us at help@tejusindia.com.
