ALMITRA PATEL VISITED TECHNOPARK
Almitra Patel,the member of Supreme Court commission on Solid Waste Management visited Technopark,Trivandrum's Solid Waste Management (SWM) Plant on August 18. Almitra was instrumental in the formation of the country's first Solid Waste Management project back in the year 2000 and is now the national expert and adviser of the SwachhBharatb,.Following her visit, she stated that the waste management plant in Technopark was the most scientific, efficient and clean centre among all the 175 cities she has visited till date.
NEW COMPANIES @ TECHNOPARK KOLLAM
The office of b*Redeemerb, Technologies was inaugurated in an official function held at the b*Technopark Kollamb, on 18th August 2016. The event was attended by chief guests MP Jose K Mani and Technopark Trivandrum CEO Hrishikesh Nair along with Redeemer Technologies CEO Jais John.
The offices of TechStoreSolutionsb,, SopetelTechnologiesb, and CyangitsSolutionsb, were inaugurated in an official function held at the TechnoparkKollamb, on 22 August 2016. The events were attended by chief guest Smt.J.Mercykutty Amma (Minister for Fisheries and Traditional Industries) along with respective CEOs Harish Murali (Tech Store Solutions), Ajeesh (Sopetel Technologies), Sathyadharman (Cyangits Solutions).
3RD FOUNDATION DAY OF PERFOMATIX
Software MNC, Perfomatix Solutions, based at Technopark, Trivandrum, celebrated its 3rd Foundation Day on August 15. Mr. Liju Pillai, CEO and co-founder delivered a short session on the inception of the company and how it has grown into Technoparks reputed technology partner for businesses and startups. 
The foundation day celebrations included talent showcase programs and team building activities. Certificates were distributed to employees who excelled in various departments during the past year.

Girl power was the name of the game at this year's Rio Olympics with India's P. V. Sindhu, Dipa Karmakar and Sakshi Malik bringing pride to the nation as they excelled in their respective events. The girls gave us something to rejoice about in a moment where over a billion hearts lost hope for the country's success in the Olympics. You have made us proud and upheld the name of the country! 
SUBMISSION OF REPRESENTATION
Prathidhwanib,, socio-cultural organization of the employees at Technopark, Trivandrum took part in a meeting with Sri Pinarayi Vijayan, honorable Chief Minister of Kerala and submitted the representation to him on Monday. The document includes suggestions from employees regarding further development of Technopark as well as the development of the IT sector in Kerala, including a suggestion for increasing job opportunities in Technopark by inviting major IT companies like b*Wiprob,,HCLb,,TechMahindrab, ,b*CTSb,,TCSb, to Technpark/Technocity so that experienced IT professionals don't have to relocate to IT hubs like Bengaluru, Pune and so on. The representation included 26 suggested changes to be brought about across various aspects in the IT sector
VSC CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY
Vivekananda Study Circleb, at b*Technoparkb,, organised an event to celebrate Independence day here in Technopark. Shri Richard Hay (Member of Parliament) was the chief quest. Shri Hrishikesh Nair(CEO, Technopark) was also part of the event held on 18th Aug 2016 at Travancore Hall, Park Centre, Technopark.
