HOME MUSIC FESTIVAL
Five of the most rocking bands, Thaikkudam Bridge, Agam, Jhanu, Lagori and Thakara set the stage on fire at the Natana Aum-i Artistes Home Music Festival which took place at Technopark, Trivandrum on Wednesday evening. The show was a raging success and audiences were left longing for more.
IEDC SUMMIT 2016
The Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Centers (IEDC) Summit, one of the largest student entrepreneur summits in Kerala was held at Girideepam Convention Centre, Nalanchira, Trivandrum on August 23. Innovation Entrepreneurship Development Centers are small incubators available in colleges, where students can kindle ideas and create successful startups. The Kerala Startup Mission has a total of 147 IEDC across 14 districts in the state. 
The IEDC Summit 2016 was a culmination of all the activities of the 147 colleges and their students. Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon. Chief Minister announced that the summit is to be held annually and announced 150 crore for connecting IEDC colleges across the state. Shri M Sivsankar IAS, Shri PH Kurien IAS, Shri Kuncheria P Issac jointly inaugurated the event.
Prizes for best ideas, projects,video and best IEDC were distributed by Shri Kadakampilly Surendran, Minister for Power & Dewasom. The summit included an activity hub, panel discussions and sessions on various topics.
FLASH MOB BY NATANA @ TECHNOPARK
As a part of the HOME Music Festival which took place in Technopark, Trivandrum on Wednesday August 31 a special 'Flash Mob' was carried out by the members of Natana at 1pm on Tuesday August 30th in the middle of Bhavani and Tejaswini buildings. 
12TH ANNIVERSARY OF TRIASSIC

VISIONICS SOFTWARE IN UNIVERSITY SYLLABUS
Visionics India Pvt Ltd company with its base at the Periyar Building at Technopark Trivandrum has developed a software 'EDWinXP' that has been fetured and included in the third semester syllabus of B.Tech ECE in the subject of Electronics Design Automation Lab at the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala.
iDONATE BY TEJUS
Under iDONATE program, Tejus at Technopark, Trivandrum conducted its 86th Voluntary Blood Donation camp on 25th August 2016 in association with UST Global at the Nila building. The donated blood was handed over to the SCT Hospital, Trivandrum. Keeping in mind UST's shift timings, the camp was kicked off at around 11.30am and culminated by 2.45pm. 
A total of 48 successful donations and 57 registrations were made. 
SRESHTA KRISHI BY PRAKRUTHI
Prakruthi, an organization of Technopark, Trivandrum released its mobile application named 'Sreshta Krishi' for iOS users this month. The application provides comprehensive knowledge for homestead farmers. The app features detailed description of crop varieties, planting methods, pests and pest control, diseases, friendly insects and waste management practices are listed in the application. Along with the iOS application, Prakruthi has rolled out an upgraded version of the application for Android users as well. This application is developed with the support of the Centre for innovation in Science and Social Action, Suchitwa Mission and Infospica.

VSC DISTRIBUTED STUDY AIDS
Vivekananda Study Circle - the socio-cultural organization in Technopark, Trivandrum - distributed note books and study aids to more than fifty students of the Magic Bus NGO India life skill camp, in Venjaramoodu (Kattor and Koppam Camps) on August 20th 2016. Magic Bus camps working towards developing a child's life skills in their journey from childhood to livelihood.
Earlier VSC had collected notebooks and study aids from their members and fellow techies from Technopark. VSC also plans to support such organizations by providing training sessions for the volunteers of Magic Bus in areas like personal development, interactive skills, communication and information technology.  VSC hopes to engage more techies in similar volunteer skill development programs and garner  their support for carrying out social work.
