Post: Associate Systems Engineer / Systems Engineer

Experience: 1 – 4 Year

Qualification: Bachelors' degree preferably in Computer Science

Job Description:

  • Managing incidents as per ITIL incident management process
  • Assist in the development design and implementation of technical support systems.
  • Skilled in installation and troubleshooting problems encountered on OS (Linux/Windows) and Middleware and application level (Apache Web Server, IIS, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Postfix, Load balancing, reverse proxy etc.) by giving apt solutions.
  • Working knowledge Virtual Hypervisor management (Xen/Oracle VM, KVM or VMware)
  • Basic knowledge of public cloud management like AWS, Azure etc.
  • Patch management, deployment, and server upgradation (Linux/Windows)
  • Basic understanding of network protocols (Linux/Windows)
  • Knowledge in both Linux (Bash, Perl, and/or Python) and Windows (PowerShell, batch, and/or VBScript).
  • May have to provide services in a 24*7 environment to supervise over the troubleshooting problems encountered at any instance of the day.
  • Work and monitor the local backup and recovery process on daily basis.
  • Assist in the developing standards, guidelines procedures for network support.
  • Documenting incident management procedures.

  • Good written/verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work in 24 x 7 rotational shifts.
  • Good knowledge on operating systems (Linux and Windows).
  • Good knowledge of monitoring tools.
  • Proven ability to fix moderate to complex issues related to hardware and software.
  • Basic knowledge of public cloud management like AWS, Azure etc.
  • Working knowledge on Ticketing Tools (OTRS/JIRA).
  • Efficient Team player.
  • Preference for immediate joiners.
