Brief description :
Industron Nanotechnology is seeking a highly enthusiastic and experienced Application engineers for our India Center at Trivandrum Technopark campus.
The Application Engineer would be responsible for conducting application research in the field of mechanical testing of materials at micro and nanometer scale and support the sales and marketing of Industron nanomechanical test instruments in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform applications research in support of Industron’s current and new products.
- Perform sample testing on the Industron nanomechanical test system in India.
- Work effectively with internal groups, including R&D, sales and marketing, and the analytical lab.
Meet with customers, presenting relevant applications as well as specific customer driven data.
- Present talks at scientific and engineering conferences and to write papers for both peer-reviewed journals and trade magazines.
- Support the local sales organization and applications laboratories in India as well as Middle East.
- Some travel will be necessary to customers and scientific conferences and trade shows
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with nanomechanical testing of materials is highly desired.
- Excellent team skills are a must, as the position will require interaction with a wide audience including R&D, field sales, product management, and the analytical laboratory. The team, business, and day to day interactions are global in scope.
- Must have demonstrated a strong, independent ability to lead new technology research programs. Must have good project management skills.
- Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and a record of presentations and publications. Must be fluent in English.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and understand new technology
- Excellent follow through skills
- PC proficiency with decent knowledge in MS SharePoint and CRM is highly desired.
