Assist with development and tuning of SQL stored procedures and functions.
Maintenance of MS SQL Databases.
A 'building quality in' mindset is critical.
Provides development estimates and participates in project planning.
Participates in designing and developing complex systems by writing Design Specifications description of framework, interfaces, services, reports, business components, and interaction between the components.
Responsible for ensuring quality delivery of code through static and dynamic testing techniques.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lead or Senior Developer.
Understanding of project management concepts and techniques required.
Ability to be flexible, set priorities and meet deadlines in a changing environment for self-team.
Must have decision-making skills for problem identification and solution recommendation.
Preferred skills
SQL programming, writing stored procedures, Data Modeling knowledge.
Geography Data knowledge a plus.
Relevant tertiary qualifications, IT and/or business.
Prior experience in Financial Services essential, preferably with Treasury, Finance and/or regulatory experience.
Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes, defining data metrics.
