Your Key Responsibilities
- Willingness to experiment & learn
- Ability to leverage new technologies to create innovative solutions to engineering-related projects and tasks
- Work independently and with team members to develop new SaaS, Web and Mobile Solutions in a variety of platforms using Scrum and Agile practices
- Implement technical project work using DevSecOps workflows
- Provide application or site-wide performance optimization and capacity planning
- Research, evaluate and recommend software and technology packages
- Coordinate with development team members using fit-for-purpose project methodologies
- Attend daily development stand-up meetings to share and learn lean work practices
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Solid understanding of new & existing development platforms & environment
- Strong understanding of coding structures, patterns & database principles
- Experience in emerging web languages, microservice architectures & frameworks
- Experience with Microsoft azure cloud services and azure devops is a plus
- Strong programming experience with Java & J2ee technologies
- Experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring boot, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Vue, angular
- Experience with SQL Server, SSMS, Report Builder, Postgresql, Mongo DB, Cosmos DB
- Proficient in understanding of version control, testing, workflow and document tools (GIT, DevOps, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud service & Azure DevOps
- Experience with Python is considered as an asset
- Experience in DevSecOps philosophy & learn/agile framework
- Engineering experience & broad knowledge across major engineering disciplines
Education and Experience
- Minimum acceptable levels of education include and experience:
- bachelor’s in computer science or a related field
- Microsoft Azure Certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of coding experience
