Job responsibilities

 

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and meet sales targets. This includes developing plans to increase lead generation and conversion rates through various channels such as social media, email, telemarketing, etc.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and identifying new business opportunities. This includes identifying potential clients and reaching out to them through various means, such as cold calling, email, and networking events.
  • Collaborating with the product development team, to ensure the smooth running of sales operations. This includes working closely with these departments to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the industry. This includes researching the market, studying competitors, and identifying opportunities to improve the company's products or services.
  • Preparing and delivering regular sales reports to upper management to provide insights and feedback on sales performance. This includes analyzing data and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Identifying and attending relevant industry events and trade shows to promote the company and its products/services. This includes participating in events and trade shows, making presentations, and networking with potential clients.
  • Staying updated on the company's products and services to communicate their features and benefits to clients effectively. This includes staying informed about new products, features, and updates and sharing this information with clients.
  • Setting and achieving individual sales targets. This includes setting targets and monitoring progress to ensure that they are met.
  • Negotiating and closing deals with clients. This includes working with clients to understand their needs and negotiating the terms of the sale.

 

Preferred skills

  • Professionals with a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant experience in business development and sales management particularly in international markets.
  • Educational qualification – BBA/MBA/Any graduation
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Flexible to work from home or the office, depending on the company's policy.
  • Strong knowledge of the relevant industry and market trends.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Experience from the automotive background would be preferred though not compulsory.
