Kerala IT Parks in association with ICT Academy of Kerala has recently opened an IT Parks Liaison Office to support the IT companies in the state with the digital skills demand requirements. The office was officially opened at an introductory function held in Kozhikode on May 23rd. The special address was delivered virtually by Mr John M Thomas, CEO of Kerala IT Parks, and the keynote address was delivered by Mr Santhosh Kurup, CEO of ICT Academy of Kerala. Mr Binu Shankar, Director of EY, also spoke at the gathering which comprised company representatives from Govt Cyberpark, UL Cyberpark, and Hilite Business Park. The meeting was also attended by Mr Vivek Nair, GM of Govt Cyberpark, as well as representatives from KSDIC, KSUM, and CAFIT. Post-meeting, attendees decided to carry out initiatives such as industry-academia collaboration meetups and to tie up with Industry bodies in order to create demand pipelines that ICTAK can use to prepare the best talent.
