EY Global team met with Chief Minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) team met with Chief Minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan yesterday and confirmed their interest in Trivandrum to start their Global Managed Services centre. Hon’ble CM along with Chief Secretary Mr. Tom Jose IAS, and Technopark CEO Mr. Hrishikesh Nair welcomed EY’s Global Vice Chair of GDS Mr. Srinivasa Rao, Mr. Joseluis Garcia Fernandez, GDS Managed Services Leader, Ms. Jane Collete, Dir-Strategic initiatives, and assured all Government support to start operations in Trivandrum.

EY currently has around 5000 employees in Trivandrum & Kochi, operating mainly on Client support and Enablement Services. Their third and new global vertical viz, Managed Services, is planning to start a global centre in India. GoK under the guidance of IT secretary Mr. M Sivasankar IAS met with EY management team in April 2018 to persuade them to consolidate operations in Trivandrum.

Government in its envisaged Technocity project is also keen to associate with EY in creating a Centre of Excellence (CoE) on emerging technologies like Blockchain, Cyber Security and Skill Development initiatives.
